SALA Resort & Spa | Phuket, Thailand

June 23, 2017

They say there are always two sides to every story and SALA Resort and Spa is proof that there are two sides to Phuket.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Patong and surrounding suburbs in the south, SALA is tucked away on a secluded 9km stretch of golden sandy beach at the northwest side of Phuket – a mere 20 minutes from the airport. The resort offers 79 villas and suites, and of these 63 are villas with high walls and their own fully private pool.

From the moment you enter the reception of the resort you are greeted by the most amazing staff offering scented towels and a refreshing tea. You are personally escorted to your villa to select your pillow firmness and desired scent for bath products before left on your own to soak it all in.

The private villas are luxurious, opening up seamlessly to blend the indoors with the outside areas, including an open air shower and bathtub, allowing you to bathe under the stars.

With all of this in your own villa, it's hard to see any reason why you would need leave. But just outside your walls, SALA has not one but two outdoor pools with cabanas and staff ready and willing to wait on you – making you feel like royalty.

Mai Khao beach is only a few metres from the resort which is part of Sirinat National Park and free of the crowds and water activities.

And if all of this still isn't enough, SALA has an elegant day spa for that extra pampering - absolute bliss!

The simplistic design, minimalistic furnishing and touches of elegance, coupled with the intimate location makes SALA Resort and Spa both romantic and relaxing - perfect for newlyweds or couples getaway.
